Islamic Philanthropy and Wellbeing

The author notes that while it’s an umbrella term, the allocation, prioritization, and criteria for support are highly debated among Islamic philanthropic organizations and Muslim jurists. The study explores how these diverse interpretations and practices influence the effectiveness of Islamic philanthropy in addressing societal needs and contributing to overall wellbeing, emphasizing the complexities within this significant sector.
