The Indian government has launched the SOAR (Skilling for AI Readiness) program to integrate AI education into school curricula for grades 6-12. This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide by providing AI literacy to students, especially those in rural areas, through structured 15-hour modules. The program also includes teacher training and global collaborations, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020. The goal is to develop an AI-ready workforce capable of solving real-world problems and driving innovation, positioning India as a leader in technological transformation.
