Social Capital Transformation through Activities of Philanthropy Organization as Civic Engagement Improvement

This report investigates how philanthropy organizations in Indonesia contribute to the transformation of social capital and enhancement of civic engagement through community-based activities. Through case studies, the authors illustrate that structured philanthropic programs, including training initiatives, participatory grant-making, and social events, are effective in strengthening local social capital. These programs foster increased trust, reinforce community norms, and expand social networks. The study highlights the instrumental role of philanthropic interventions in building robust civic participation and community resilience within Indonesian contexts.
