This study assesses the mastery of generic skills among students at Politeknik Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin, Perlis. Focusing on communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and ethics, the research involved 407 randomly selected respondents across various departments and semesters. Using descriptive statistics and inferential analysis, the findings indicate high mean scores ranging from 4.04 to 4.28, suggesting strong proficiency in these skills. Notably, the study identifies significant gender differences in ethical and professional skills, highlighting areas for targeted development in the curriculum to enhance overall student competencies.
